I’m so excited to kick off 2018 by being included in Bab’s Book Bistro’s “The Bistro Magazine“–a free, on-line magazine featuring authors, interviews, books, reviews, recipes, and more.
I offered up one of my all-time favorite, cold-weather-comfort-food recipes, Yorky Beef Stew. My mom passed this recipe down to me and my sisters, and one of the best things about it is that it is completely adaptable. For my family, we use chicken or turkey stew instead of beef. Both work just as well with the popover crust. You’ll find the recipe on pages 26-29 in the online magazine.
And while you’re waiting for the timer to go off on the stew, flip to pages 93-97 for excerpts of Wild Lavender and The Queen’s Dance. And make sure to check out all of the content so that you don’t miss any awesome new reads.
As a bonus, there’s a giveaway for the magazine’s subscribers: a free download of The Queen’s Dance.
Happy reading and bon appétit.
